All the members of Parliament coming from different states and union territories are elected according to the population and demography of the country. There are 42 seats in the Parliament, which represent the voice of the people on the national stage and understand their concerns and aspirations.

The list of elected representatives is considered important for important policies and decisions. Here is the list of all the members who represent their various Lok Sabha constituencies. Trinamool Congress announced the list of candidates for 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal during a rally at the Brigade Ground in Kolkata on Sunday.

TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee has included prominent candidates like Abhishek Banerjee (from Diamond Harbor) and Mahua Moitra (from Krishnanagar) in the list. Apart from this, cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been selected from Baharampur, and Haji Nurul Islam, who has now become a candidate from Basirhat, are included in the list.

Actor Shatrughan Sinha has once again been made the candidate from Asansol, while Saugata Roy and Sudip Bandopadhyay have also been elected. On the age vs youth issue, TMC has confirmed that the party will contest the elections alone in West Bengal.
